:. About The Program
Fresno High School Army JROTC is located in Fresno, CA. The program started in 1994 with 85 cadets and has continued to grow ever since. This year 250 cadets are actively enrolled in the program.
Our JROTC program emphasizes leadership and teamwork. Students involved in the program learn leadership skills that they can use in a military career, business career, or everyday life. Students can also get involved with various extra-curricular activities. Some include community service that has been recognized by the city of Fresno.
There are also many events that are available only for JROTC cadets. Such as the Annual Cadet Ball and the highly anticipated Spring Camp at an Army Reserve Base - Fort Hunter Liggett. The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is an excellent program to get involved in.

The Golden Bell Award

The purpose of this trip was to receive the very prestigious "Golden Bell Award, given out by the California School Boards Association.
